Determining Sizes for Men and Women

When measuring the size in thin clothing, use a flexible measuring tape (without stretching or sagging) to measure chest circumference in centimeters at the most prominent points of the body in a horizontal plane. Tight or loose clothing may introduce errors and increase the measurement result.
Round the obtained result to the nearest value from the standard size range 80, 84, 88, 92, 96..., as follows:
If you rounded to a smaller size, fitted clothing will sit on your figure slightly tighter than on the size you rounded to.
If you rounded to a larger size, fitted clothing will sit on your figure more loosely than on the size you rounded to.
The number to which you rounded is your size, regardless of the standard size indicated on the labels of the clothing you wear on the day of measuring body parameters.

Mistakenly determining your size based on the size indicated on the label of the clothing you wear, even if it fits perfectly.

Important moment when taking measurements yourself. Of course, everyone wants their measurements to be slightly smaller, but still, be honest with yourself. Do not tighten the tape measure too much, and do not pull in the stomach with maximum willpower to the spine, in other words, the garment will separate at the seams when you inhale and exhale. When taking measurements, stand straight in a relaxed state.

To determine the size of uniform clothing related to the waist group (skirts, pants), you need to measure the hip circumference for women and the waist circumference for men.

To determine the size of uniform clothing related to the shoulder group (blouses, vests, etc.), both for men and women, you need to measure the chest circumference.

Hip and waist circumference may affect the final value of your size if their values exceed the fullness group laid down by the manufacturer in women's and men's models of uniform clothing, respectively.

How to Measure Sizes:

Height: measured without shoes from the top of the head to the heels. It is best to do this by leaning against the door jamb.
Chest circumference: measured horizontally across the most prominent points of the chest.
Waist or belt circumference: measured around the waist (do not tighten the tape).
Hip circumference: the centimeter tape should pass through the most prominent points of the buttocks.
Pay attention! If your measurements are in the range between two sizes, always order the larger size.
